Here are some photos I took with the 35mm. They didn*t turn out to my liking, but like i said before "practice makes perfect" lets only hope!!!

So we have anabelle in the mirror, xander really angry, cool wine bottles from our wedding, an exhaust fan, a towel holder, the bridge right outside our house, anabelle sitting on the coffee table with baby and xander chewing on a toy! More to come, hopefully!

too much excitement in one day!

the first part is hilarious! anabelle got into my make*up! the others are my shutterbugs assignments - angles and curves. i took some with the 35 i just haven*t used the entire roll yet, so as soon as those are finished you*ll see a bunch more.

Lots of work to do

here are a few that turned out and a few that didn*t. there were SEVERAL that were over exposed and not in great focus. and just a couple that seemed like the film curled up inside or something...not sure. but practice makes perfect...right?!?!?! enjoy. i know i am!

barbie car go

well here it is, this is done with the digital, which i didn*t think was possible but i figured it out and i am sooooooooooooo thrilled.....you have NO idea!

This is the one i am the happiest with. I finally decided to sit the camera on something and I pushed the car across the floor. My hand actually rested behind the car and you can*t see it. Awesome huh?!


These next two are not the best but I pushed the car with my foot, you can see my jeans....

35 mm

Today my dad came by with my mother of course to watch my kiddos as I picked up an extra shift at work and afterwards dad and I had some photography sharing time. He brought over his REALLY old Minolta XE-7 35 mm. It*s so much fun. I*m learning as I go and so far so good. I bought 3 rolls of film today and I plan on taking notes with my first roll so that I can remember exactly what all I did. I will post any of them that turn out to show progress of my photo lessons!

My goal is to be a photographer in 3 years. In the 3 years I want to learn EVERYTHING about digi's and film cameras. I would like to pick up on developing my own film too, so that would mean we would have to invest in a dark room, so we*ll have to wait and see on that. I want to build up my portfolio and web page so that I can get rollin* on my own business. I haven*t quite figured out what my "nitch" will be but most likely I will do weddings, baby, pregnancy and engagements. I*m not a person that tells people to pose, so I don*t know how that will go. I*ll most likely just shoot a whole bunch until I get the right exposure! WHO KNOWS! But anyway! Look for pics tomorrow!

Edmond Trip!

Alexander and Kayley were having floor play time!! Are they not the cutest lil babies you*ve EVER seen?!?! Wait till you see the next ones! By the way! They have a pre-arranged marriage and they don*t know it yet! :P

My Cassie needs to come back home to lovely Wichita!

My First time....

Trying this out! Seems like it would be something I would really enjoy considering I LOVE to blog...You should see my closet, I have TONS of "journals" and "diaries". Even though this is my first entry it wont be very thrilling! So keep watching for more to come...of mrsboyd*s ramblings!
